During the 1930s our prams were manufactured using very simple, traditional methods. Then, as now, there were no shortcuts to creating happy customers and the craftsmanship was of a genuinely high standard.1940's
During the turbulent 1940s the demand for Emmaljunga prams was so high that the company continued to expand. The old wooden buildings were replaced by a modern factory and the company went from a workshop to an industry.1960's & 1970's
During the 1960s and the 1970s high birth rates and social reforms helped Emmaljunga sales to reach new record levels. The factory was modernised and extended in several stages and the production volume reached 100,000 prams per year.1980's & 1990's
During the 1980s and the 1990s the company continued to expand through export and with the aid of the sound thinking and decision making which still guides our successful family company after 90 years1 - 32 of 43 -
